John Pool is a Holy Fire® Reiki Level III Master and the founder of Reiki Shears. His practice of Reiki and his years working directly with professional groomers, hairstylists, barbers, sharpeners, and their tools helped shape the philosophy behind Reiki Shears.

Reiki is a Japanese energy practice centered around intention, connection, balance, and the movement of energy. Distance Reiki applies those same principles without requiring the practitioner and recipient to be physically together.

30-Minute Focused Session — $99
A focused session for a specific intention or for someone experiencing distance Reiki for the first time.

45-Minute Full Session — $149
A complete distance Reiki experience with additional time to settle in, connect, and focus on your intention.

60-Minute Extended Session — $199
An extended, unhurried session with more time dedicated to intention, connection, and the Reiki experience.

The Connection to Reiki Shears

Reiki Shears are professional tools first—but they are created with intention.

A groomer's shears become an extension of their hands. They are used every day in incredibly close contact with animals, often during moments that require patience, trust, calmness, and understanding.

For hairstylists and barbers, that connection is with people. A haircut can mark change, confidence, expression, or the beginning of something new.

That relationship between person, tool, intention, and the being receiving the work is at the heart of Reiki Shears.

The Reiki symbols, philosophy, and intention incorporated into the brand are meant to serve as reminders of that connection. Choosing to work with that intention can make the tool feel like more than a piece of steel—it becomes part of the relationship between your hands, your craft, and the individual in your care.

Owning Reiki Shears isn't required to receive distance Reiki. But for those who already work with Reiki Shears, a session with John can be an opportunity to deepen the intention and personal connection you associate with your tools and your work.

How Distance Reiki Works

After purchasing, you'll submit a request to arrange your session with John.

You may provide a specific intention for your session or simply remain open to the experience. You do not need previous experience with Reiki, and because the session is conducted at a distance, you can participate from wherever you are.

At the scheduled time, find a quiet and comfortable place where you can relax without interruption.
